A socket that you plug a c7 lead into (like a tape player figure-of-8 lead). I need one that I can wire up, not a moulded one. Can’t seem to find them anywhere.

You know quite recently I was struck by just how clear and legible Comic Sans is.
It has a terrible reputation, (perhaps a bit like Nickelback), but if you get beyond that and judge it anew it's pretty good (perhaps a bit like..?) but Comic Sans is okay.  Worth another look.

Font is obviously the original word; font and fount both come from the Latin fons originally and the French fontaine, obviously. I expect the added ‘u’ in fount is a later anglicization

Mr 1969 - have you ever seen an inline one, rather than a pcb one?

No, I’m basically looking for an extension lead, but one that I can wire up.
