    Yeah  it's come up okay.    Looks like it should be some flimsy jap crap kind of thing, but actually feels nicely solid and reliable

    The pickup likely would work great for slide, its got a lot of clarity but stops just short of being too bright.   It does play like a modern guitar though... somewhere between a junior and a tele

    It's only something like 4.2k, but demonstrates just how pointless those numbers are as it sounds massive.

    Agree. I've got a Mojo Speedbump in a guitar, and it's 4.5k output, but louder than some neck pickups in the 8k output range I own.
