Boss MS2 Midi and Neural Plug ins?

Morning - just getting into a bit more recording / plug in based stuff. I'm currently loving the Archetype Cory Wong plugin and would like to be able to switch patches etc using my Boss MS3 from my main board. If I connect the midi out from the MS3 to the midi in on my interface is it then just a case of mapping the midi changes to change the patches or am I missing something?
