I don't know why, but I was really surprised by her age!  Another of those actors who was a household name to many of us, but probably won't be recognised by younger people.

    RIP

Ahh, sad. Always funny and 'cheeky' I remember her from the Cliff films, on Give Us A Clue  and popping up in odd places more than as Aunt Sally.

I'm not entirely sure about that, my niece who is 14 knows her from Sherlock, which seems to be quite popular with a younger demographic.

She was a fine actress RIP.

I remember her as Alf Garnett's daughter, I don't remember her doing anything as controversial again. She was quite spiky in a Midsomer Murder a few years ago.

    RIP.

When I read the Tribute Blog that was my first thought - Just had a look at the BBC and am aware of most other shows/appearances etc but never really watched them - So I'll remember her as Rita - RIP

Yes, I'd forgotten Sherlock.  Apparently she was on Eastenders not too long ago too, I guess people still watch that.

Such sad news to hear of her passing. I thought she'd live forever as she has such a young spirit to her. She was great in Summer Holiday and brilliant as the bolshy Aunt Sally. A true legend of British film and TV.  :'(

Surprised to hear she’d passed, she seemed very sprightly for her age in Sherlock. I remember her most as Alf Garnet’s daughter. RIP Una.

I went looking on YouTube, and failed to find, her dancing with Anthony Newley and a vacuum cleaner on Gurney Slade. Which is quite a thing. I think I might have had a crush on her when I was five, and didn't really understand any of that, age appropriateness least of all.

She was Christian Henson out of Spitfire Audio's mum, which surprised me.

    A total icon.

I watched Summer holiday about a month ago. Una was so adorable in that film! A great little mover in the dance scenes. She's one of those actresses that was always popping up during my childhood.

    Sad news, RIP Una
