Cheese in a can is frigging awesome though. 

I encouraged an American colleague to bring some to a BBQ. It was amusing seeing everyone turning their nose up at it, then trying it under duress, then grudgingly asking for more, then slowly becoming addicted to it. 

Americans have good cheese and good beer, you just don't tend to find it in Walmart. Anchor Steam is a decent one you can find over here.
