Custom colour Strats and the matching car colours (or should I say colors...?).

Maybe it is just this photo - but there doesn't look to be a lot of difference between Fiesta Red and Dakota Red does there?

We know there is a significant difference in the two colours so it must be the pic. Don't blame the messenger!

Eric Clapton has a (darker than Pewter) grey Strat that was painted to match one of his Ferraris.

I think this is something we should all do - but with more prosaic cars. My Ford Focus is 'Race Red' - I might need to look at getting my Sonic Blue Strat refinished....

I have a Steinberger in Gulf racing colours and my OCD mate who did it went as far as to get the right RAL codes for the paint & primer

My old Focus was Aqua Frost, a silvery green. That would really cool on a Strat.

That's a mega paint job BTW. Gulf colour scheme is ace. Don't think the colours would suitably 'zoom up' the Rav4 tho
