I admire celebrities who resist the urge to look perpetually young and allow themselves to age naturally and gracefully, with confidence and without fear of looking old.  Jane Seymour is a good example.  For a 70 year old I think she looks as beautiful as she did when she was younger, just in a different way and she's not hiding her grey hair and wrinkles under hair dye and 5mm of polyfilla. I would far rather see an old/older celebrity with slight sagging of the upper eyelids and a slight bagginess of the face than one whose face looks as though he/she has been hung on a butcher's hook by the scalp for an hour and all the stretched skin then tied off at the top like a bin bag, leaving them with odd looking eyes and cheeks so tight the skin could tear if they used a stiff-bristled make up brush - like Carol Vorderman perhaps?

TBF, one does wonder how much Vaseline on a lens would achieve the effect that's needed for Carol V

Edit: I'm sure there's a whole raft of photographer's tricks that are deployed......Vaseline sounds so Old Skool
