Daughter (4) has started making noises about getting a guitar for Christmas. Looking for a 1/2 size acoustic or classical. Guitar snob in me can't stand to get her one of the dirt cheap Argos specials ... Anything out there? Or any reccomendations?

    I highly recommend the Yamaha GL1. Had one for 7 years and despite it being treated roughly by the kids it’s still going strong. It’s a Uke sized guitar so a great starter instrument and also a cool little travel guitar / sofa noodler.
