What was the THE album that truly changed your life to make you want to play guitar?

There wasn't even video back then, let alone DVDs or the InterWeb, so learning the techniques etc was tough back then.  (life was tough -cue Monty Python sketch)

Good to hear about another Akkerman fan .. he was like a breath of fresh air back in '71 as everyone else was still playing blues music. I was lucky enough to see Focus live a few times before Jan quit in '76. I was a roadie for Akkerman on a few UK tours - really nice guy with a wicked sense of humour.

The desire to play guitar crept up gradually but I think it was Blackout by Scorpions that really pushed me over the edge.
