Using backing tracks - monitoring

Considering using a backing track live.

It would have an acoustic guitar strummed all the way through.

I assume I'd mix that hard to one side and a click track to the other.

What are the options for the dummer hearing the click?

That’s exactly what we did with a boss rc3, if you’ve got something better you may have more options

If you've got a live drummer playing along then you need to experiment with the type of click (what kind of sound / pitch) and monitoring levels.  And you'll need a good drummer, not all can play to a click by any means.
