2002 Lowden F-35C Custom.

A beautiful, no-expense spared, custom order F-35C (Cutaway) from 2002.

Master grade AAAA+ Bastogne Burl Walnut, and the tightest, straightest grained AAAA+ Red Cedar. Custom round neck heel with Abalone inlays. An Abalone, Ebony and Maple Rosette. Double Purflings. The darkest, deepest looking Ebony fingerboard with inlayed binding. Multiple layer wood Purflings on the back and sides. The attention to detail, and the quality of wood and appointments is just stunning. Beautifully balanced tone, projection and resonance. A real masterpiece of an F-35C Custom. GL Standard Neck profile of 45mm Nut and 57mm 14th Fret. Has the Lowden Highlander IP-1 pickup. Has some marks commensurate with use and age with one of note near the bridge as pictured. Comes with original Lowden Hiscox case, which structurally is sound, but the middle pocket could do with a tidy up.

I suspect that the forum’s ‘view count’ mechanism is a bit flaky.

According to my source, this guitar was built in 2000. Hey ho. Hope it doesn't take as long to move this time. Lovely guitar but I went and ordered an Avalon. Hopefully it will arrive this month?

1847 upto 15000 were built in what is now called the Avalon factory up to 2003, I assume 12300 would have been built 2 or 3 years before they stopped?
