I never took much notice of INXS back in the day.  I didn't dislike them, they just weren't on my radar back then.
Anyways I've just been watching this restored live footage of them back in 1991 and wow what a great live band. The huge audience is just pumping and Michael Hutchinson is in absolute control of the ship. Just amazing to see.
It blows my mind that this was over 30 years ago, it's frightening just how fast those years have passed.
Definitely worth a watch.

Saw them live on that tour. Google tells me I saw them December 1990, the Wembley show being the following summer.
Seem to recall recording this Wembley show off the radio live, too.

What's even more astonishing is that that could have been 1991 (as it was) or it could have been two weeks ago. The band isn't sporting a look or a sound that's bang out of time with anywhere - sometimes those old gigs are obviously of their time, this one was not. The only time the year/decade is a dead giveaway is when they cut to people in the crowd or big wide shots of the old Wembley.
