    Define reasonable, please.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

  • Reasonable, up to £100. Preferably under that, they are for a project guitar. It has dimarzio virtual vintages in it at the minute, but I’m not sold on them and want to try something else. Then I will sell the dimarzio on once I get replacements

Which exact model(s), in which position(s) and what is the fingerboard radius of the host guitar?

  • A virtual vintage heavy blues 2 in the neck, virtual vintage blues in the middle and a fast track 2 in the bridge at the minute.

Host guitar is a MIM Classic Series 60s, 7.25” radius

Not tried your exact trio but I have used other DiMarzios in an SSS guitar. They do seem to like running through a DiMarzio Pro Parts volume pot. The Fast Track models prefer an A500k pot.

For the record, a bridge position Seymour Duncan Hot Rails would sound pretty similar to your Fast Track 2 - nice distorted but lacking treble when clean.

How about the Alegree Old Timer range? Chimers for neck and centre. Striker for bridge position. Maybe, a metal baseplate for the bridge pickup?
