Up for sale is my Prism Sound Orpheus. It comes in its original box.
These are without doubt one of the best, if not, arguably, the best pro audio converters around. The Orpheus is no exception.
In addition to its mastering grade converters, the Orpheus also incorporates four pristine preamps via XLR/TSR sockets and an additional four line inputs via TSR sockets. These are situated at the rear. All eight analogue input channels have a switchable 'Overkiller' circuit, which is a fast–acting but progressive limiter designed to catch and control brief transients that might otherwise overload the converter. The 'neat and uncluttered' front panel has two TS sockets for DI inputs. In addition the Orpheus front panel incorporates a monitor level knob (which is also controllable from the control panel app on your computer) and two headphone outputs with two independent headphone level knobs.
The Orpheus incorporates eight analogue outputs plus up to 10 digital outputs (ADAT plus S/PDIF or AES3). It's an extremely well spec'd interface.
The build quality of this unit (as with all Prism Sound equipment) is truly exceptional and oozes class.
