^^^ which Marshall anniversary did you get?

    I almost bought one !
JTM 1c. Impulse purchase. Should perhaps have got the head instead but I thought the combo looked "cute." I'm struggling to get a sound from it that I like.

Starting from beginning with as much as I can remember.
Selmer T&B 50 and Wem cab
    Marshall super lead100 and 4x12
    HH vs musician 2x12combo
Another Selmer combo (?) I think.
    A Burman combo
    Vox AC30 early 60's
Pro Amp Venom, or (viper, the tranny one) 2x10
    Roland JC50 1x12
    Carlsbro Stingray 2x12
    Musicman 50 1x10
    Fender sf twin
    Fender Deluxe reverb sf
    Peavey classic 30
    Fender vibro champ
    Fender Princeton reverb
    Fender bf Princeton
Fender bf band master head and cab
    Fender Bf twin
     Fender Bf super
Fender SF bandmaster head ( wicked amp)
Marshall JMP 50 and Marshall 2x12 cab
    Fender 68 sf Deluxe reverb
Marshall 4010 1x12 combo, not the split channel one!
    Vox AC30 early 60's
    Vox Ac30 head and cab
    Marshall Super PA 100 modded.
    Marshall super bass 100
    Another 2 fender twins
    3Fender sf Vibrolux combos
    Reissue Vibroverb the brown one!
    Fender Blues deluxe
Peavey Bandit in fact two or three over the years.
    Marshall 25/50 anniversary
Hand made tweed deluxe, made by Dave Hunter for guitar magazine.
    Red knob Fender showman head.
    Fender custom Vibrolux reverb
    Some more Musicman amps,
Some other strange and wonderful amps that I have mainly forgotten about, such as Alligator, Elmwood and Maine.
Can't remember, oh! a piece of shit called the HT40 worst amp I have ever owned.
    Marshall Haze that blew up.
Peavey Vypyr that blew up. Now using possibly the cheapest amp I have ever had and still love it after 2 years of gigging it! Fender Excelsior

Edit, plus some old Park and other old Wem amps, and a Orange something that I gave to Travis in a deal for something.

    Hughes & Kettner Zenamp
Db Opera active cabs (x6 but I use one with a dg stomp)
    Traceacoustic ta50
    Marshall reverb 12
    Marshall jmp1 + 8008 poweramp
    Yamaha thr10
    Fender twin
A ton of PA type stuff that I could use with guitar

Some of the amps I've owned and sold
    H & K triamp 2
    H& K switchblade head
    Marshall jcm800 splt ch/rev head
    Carlsbro tc50?
    Pod xt pro/Mesa 50/50 rack

    Behringer tm30 copy
    Vox Venue 100
    Vox Valvetronix30

    Marshall mg30dfx
    JHS 10watt junker
    Warwick profet 5.1
    GK rb700 2x10

I think I'm happier now (with the evh for rock gigs, twin for nice gigs and zen for small gigs/rehearsing) than I can remember - it's the first time in years that I haven't got any amp gas urges...

    In order:

    Marshall G15 2RCD- sold

Fender Princeton 65 (transistor amp, early 2000s, not the classic valve job) sold

    Roland Microcube- still have it

    Orange AD5- still have it

Marshall DSL5C- bought last month and I love it.

Prefectly happy with those three, and when/if  I get back into gigging more regularly I think I'll just get a cab for the Marshall should I need it.

Yep it's with the 15" Works so well with my Esquire adds a solidness to the wound strings, even when I am using light gauge strings, it still seems to be solid!
I have a DI box permanently wired in, most gigs I just put a little through PA to spread sound, sometimes like this Saturday just gone, used it on its own. Plenty of power.

  • Well after speaking to @firepaulmusic, he reminded me of us going up to London to buy a 1x12 combo, 15-25w all valve with simple tone etc, and I came back with a Cyber Twin!
Also a Tweed Bassman, and a Little rock tweed combo.
    Plus a Fender Pro Junior.

Marshall Lead 12 Combo (Sorry about the horrible noise Dad)

Peavey USA Bandit Combo (Think it was a 40w, might have been 60w, just can't remember)

Marshall JCM800 100W MV Head + Two 4 x 12 Cabs (Really sorry about the broken windows Dad !)

Peavey Deuce Combo (The snottiest, Growly-est, bite your head off amp I ever played. Might have been 80w, just can't remember)

Marshall Valvestate 100 Head + 4x12 cab (OK for the 90's metal phase, rubbish for anything else)

1964 Vox AC50 Head (The one that I should never have sold)

Marshall JCM600 Head (Utter, Utter SHITE)

Marshall JTM 30 Combo (Nice sound but burned your arse if you sat on it)

Carlsboro Stingray 25w Combo (Made in uk, 80's model. STill the only SS amp I ever really liked. Bloody brilliant little thing)

Vox AC4C1 (Still got it, bloody love it to bits)

  • In chronological order.

Squier 15 combo (I thought it was quite heavy and quite loud at the time...)

Amptech 100w combo (Made by Music Ground in Leeds. It was shit)

Marshall 8080 Valvestate combo (Best amp ever, at not working)

Carlsboro Stingray head with homemade 2x10 cab (It probably sounded awful but it was more reliable than anything I'd had before and the amp had built in chorus/vibrato and a boost!)

Boogie Studio Preamp with Boogie 2020 Poweramp and Marshall 2x12 cab (first quality set up I owned, great cleans, great leads, nothing of note in between)

Boogie Mk2B combo with 1x12 extension cab (loved it, sounded fantastic)

Sessionette 75 combo (something light when I couldn't be arsed lugging the Boogie Mk2B around)

Marshall 1959 Plexi reissue with Marshall 4x12 cab (sounded great but was completely ungigable due to it not having a master volume)

MJW L6-40 with MJW 2x12 cab (still got, best overdrive ever)

MJW Electra Custom Mk1 combo (still got, best cleans ever, takes drives pedals exceptionally well)

Old Kelly 50 watt valve amp - not sure what happened to it!
Fender M-80 - sold - loud but unpleasant sounding
1993 Fender Blues Deluxe - sold to other guitarist in the band which he still uses. Great amp
Roland Micro Cube - still got it for front room practice and occasional busking
Marshall 1987x - sold - awesome but unusable - so loud!
Orange Tiny Terror - sold - no clean headroom
Orange Dual Terror - sold  - crazy amounts of compression
Roland Cube 60 - still got it
Fender Supersonic - original 60 watt version - sold - sounded great loud but couldn't get it warm enough at gigging volume
Marshall Bluesbreaker 1962 - sold - loved it but couldn't carry it - so heavy!
Vox Night Train 15 - still got it
Laney TT50 - sold - sounded great in the shop and completely unusable with the band. Lost a damn fortune on it!
Vox AC30 HWH - still got it - the perfect amp for teles and strats
Marshall JCM900 4501 - still got it - wonderful with humbuckers

For the first time in ages, I'm actually not looking for anything else at the moment, although I quite fancy trying one of those 22 watt deluxe reverbs!
