Atkin D37 Aged (fitted with L.R. Baggs Anthem) - £2450  £2250  SOLD

I was in the market for a big strummer but got sidetracked and thoroughly wooed by this Atkin D37. It's incredible; beats any other rosewood dread I've played. Lush and huge open tone. 

But... a rosewood dread, however much I want it to be, simply isn't the right instrument for 90% of what I get paid to play. I can't afford to keep a collection of acoustics of this quality and need something more suitable for strumming and accompanying voice. 

Trades preferred. I'd consider:

Guild: F-55, F-50, F-40 Traditional (17" lower bout), F-47M
Gibson: SJ-200, J-150
Atkin: AJ, Essential D

...with cash your way or mine as appropriate. I'll consider other maple or mahogany jumbos, as well as nice hog dreads provided they are well balanced, articulate, and excellent strummers. Bonus points for an Adi top. I'm not a big fan of 24.75" scale lengths so that rules out J-45's, J-185's and Hummingbirds.
