Pisses me off when the BBC highlights show only 2-3 of the penalties. At least TNT put the whole shootout up.

"According to the Premier League guidelines, a player will be penalised for handball if: The hand/arm is clearly away from the body and outside the "body line"The player clearly leans into the path of the ballThe ball travels some distance"

He did none of those things.  Yet it was given.

No more blinkered than people who thought that goal wasn't offside.

Agreed - blatantly offside! (if you ignore any slight variation in interpretation of which pixel to use for the goalscoring part of the body, and which frame the ball was kicked in) - would be interested to see a R&R study on this with different operators.

Glad Brentford managed to equalise late last night - Not because I'm not a Man U fan, but because they didn't deserve a win - TBH they didn't deserve the draw - Do you give credit to Man U for been resilient and hanging on, or bad luck, bad finishing by Brentford - If Brentford had have won, they'd have fully deserved it

Bournemouth fans - See your expensive signing from Leeds is now fit and ready to play - Useless twat as well I should add with a piss poor attitude - So how did he do now he has decided to do some actual work for his wage - To be fair you have two there - Adams and Sinisterra - Both like spending time with the physio
Couldn’t disagree more. Their fanbase are the most dislikeable in the premier league and their manager is a right smug wanker (Sorry Rob). Such a weird sense of entitlement which is bizarre as they’re as insignificant as the rest of us teams the premier league couldn’t give a fuck about.

Seems like the ‘employee’ behind the official Forest Twitter account is about as good at social media posts as you Jon.

are you referring to words drafted by the ex-EPL referee Mark Clattenburg?
    My trading feedback

is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?

Certainly a close call - Can't quite tell from the boot alone as the lines almost cover the Coventry players foot, plus further away - But look at the sock, so just above the boot and therefore the start of the leg then he is 'JUST' offside - But as this is such a fine margin, can we be absolutely sure that the ball has left, or indeed not left, the Coventry player's foot , who is potential making the assist
Ten Hag should be asking the following 3 questions - Why is it 4 on to 3 - Plus why are 2 players looking at the ball and not picking up the runner, who eventually scored - Or indeed why is the covering Man U player (on the near side), who is looking along the offside line, not checking his own 'covering run' to make sure the offside is far more blatant

Yes looking at that from a defending point of view, that's awful positioning from the guy in the middle, making that a much closer call that it needed to be had he been in a better position and/or paying attention to where the other defenders were. Or even just marking the runner behind him - then the Cov player is miles offside, so if they play it to him attack is over, if they lay it across the pitch to the other chap he's being marked and it would need to be an incredible ball anyway.
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

You never see a line drawn to show the moment the ball left the players foot do you? This was a point Gary O'Neil made a while ago. Technically that might be a correct offside, but in the spirit of the game? - Not offside, the players are level, no advantage gained.

I genuinely checked 4 times that the statement out out wasn’t from a parody account. Still can’t believe the childish wording (although I agree with the sentiment and the further statement put out today was much better and not like the owner has been given the admin password after too many Madri’s)

Thanks for doing us a favour on Saturday x

How about the mighty Doncaster Rovers. Nine straight wins has taken them from fighting relegation to a possible play off place.
    Fantastic achievement!

Thought they'd give us more of a game but not complaining too much. A good time to be an Arsenal fan at the moment. Bring on Sunday.
