SOLD Cavalier Lion King Telecaster neck pickup

This was custom made  by the respected American winder Rob DiStefano of Cavalier Pickups (a regular source of wisdom on the Telecaster Forum) for another Fretboard member.

It uses 42AWG wire over A3 magnets, wound on taller bobbins for a more strat-like sound (with perhaps a little softer bass response and attack than a typical Twisted tele type pick up with A5?)

I bought this quite recently - being a perennial  fiddler I was intrigued to see how it would vary from a similar type A5 pickup.

It sounds great (sweet and clear to me), but tbh not all that different from my other Twisted Tele type one from Q pickups, so I am shifting it on for someone else to enjoy.
