Lovely sounding PAF-alikes from one of the first boutique makers. I've used this pair of double-cream pickups in my daily guitar (LP DC Standard). They are in excellent condition, with one mod: I got Bill Puplett to add an extra wire to the bridge pickup for out-of-phase switching. (Ordinarily Florance didn't make 4-wire pickups.)

As Ray Davies once wrote 'A well respected man'.
I had a set of his Telecaster p-ups in a guitar I bought from here. A luthier I took it to for a set-up told me it was the best sounding Tele he'd heard - praise indeed !

You're both right - in the end I could have sold them 4x over. (They sold on My Les Paul.)
