Time to let this one go, it's an exceptional guitar and the end point of acoustic rabbit hole I went down which saw it prevail over a Gibson AJ, a handmade Taran, a then top of the range Eastman and Martin D18GE. However I just don't do acoustic anymore, it's been out of its case perhaps twice in the last two and half years so better with someone who'll give it the attention it deserves.

It's in exceptional condition for it's age, just some very light surface scuffs and a few small indents on the top – nothing that comes close to breaking through the lacquer.

Structurally excellent – neck angle good, plenty of saddle left for adjustment and top is level without any bellying, distortion or warping.

Original case included and the guitar itself is unmodified with the exception of the addition of a strap button on the heel and an under-saddle piezo pickup fitted.

The pickup installation involved the saddle being modified from a through/long saddle to a drop in saddle to accommodate the piezo. The ends are be glued in and the centre loose. Reversible if you didn't want the piezo option by having a new saddle cut and fitted. Also the endpin hole has been enlarged to accommodate a jack and 9v battery to power the system is in a bag attached to neck block by velcro.

Loads more of photos here.

Pickup from Swansea very much encouraged but can be shipped (UK only) insured with a specialist courier.

SOLD ON EBAY Price reflects the pickup installation, currently on eBay for £2200 but discounted to £2000 for Fretboardists (buyer covers any fees and shipping costs to be discussed). SOLD ON EBAY

Given the cost I'm not averse to trades, ideally partial with money my way. I like vintage style electrics but I'm not averse to contemporary guitars, just nothing pointy, with high-output pickups or a Floyd type trem. A much cheaper acoustic (-£500) possibly, effects, synths or music tech stuff may be of interest. And don't use amps.

Available again, I’m considering an eBay offer which works out at £1900 after fees so may be gone soon.
