From a players perspective not a collectors, are they decent guitars or is there a real drop in quality compared to their English made equivalents?

My first proper guitar was a 12 string Eko acoustic.
It was a lot better than comparable guitars of the same era.
It was built during the Cold War to survive nuclear explosions.

So the build quality could be tested very soon?

Specially good for hand to hand combat & serenades round the campfire in the nuclear wilderness.
I really love mine, if I have a total guitar clear out, it'll be last to go.

Keef always had one handy in case his trusty tele gave out when dealing with "stage crashers"

    Handy boat anchors too.

(No disrespect intended. Last year I was browsing in my local  used guitar shop. I spotted an Eston (rebadged Eko) 12-string exactly the same as my much-loved first guitar. It was already sold but the owner was kind enough to let me have a play on it. That was a blast!)

Brandoni  had a load of parts for them in their warehouse in the 90’s  and most of the parts seemed of decent quality so no reason to assume the guitars would be any worse than their vox counterparts
