Unsure of its origin, stamped made in the USA inside with a serial number, looks fairly old plays well and the intonation and action is good open to trades for an electric or a small valve amp

Hi Just, very interesting guitar. It looks like a Shireson cover plate. Do you know if it has a resonator cone or is just the coverplate bolted over the soundboard. It is hard to see from the photos but looks like there may be wood under the whole of the coverplate. Extra photos would be great.

I'll try and get a few more up, it is bolted to the wood yes, It is just the coverplate unfortunately it looks as though it was recently fitted, there's no damage underneath, its stamped made in the USA inside with a serial number also

I've got it set up for open G slide and it's doing an amazing job I must say! Holds tune perfectly and sounds particularly good!
