edited July 2022 in Acoustics £
Reluctantly selling this wonderfully made Larrivee D-02 dreadnought acoustic in excellent condition with one tiny little nick at the back of the head stock between the E tuning posts. I’ve recently had the frets levelled and fully set up to get it playing the best it possibly can and also had an LR Baggs Element pickup installed which sounds amazing! All work has been done by Steve at the Guitar Repair Workshop in Manchester (PMT)

Only selling due to the gas bubbling for a bad cat amp but will definitely regret letting this go!

Pickup only from the Liverpool L14 area or I can drive a reasonable distance to seal the deal.

Cash on collection or bank transfer

£1000

Here’s some product info:

The Larrivee D-02 is a stunning, all solid Dreadnought from Larrivee with a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. This dreadnought sized acoustic delivers the gorgeous tones that can only come from all solid construction. It is fantastic for flatpickers, bluegrass style players and any other kind of ensemble playing where the big low end and projection of a dreadnought would prove unbeatable.

Larrivee pride themselves on utilising the finest tonewoods and craftsmanship to craft their stunning instruments. Every piece of wood is hand selected, with Larrivee representatives travelling the world to seek out these materials, from the jungles of West India to the temperate rainforests of British Columbia. These woods are then returned to Larrivee's headquarters to undergo their own painstaking kilning and curing processes to ensure maximum control over the quality of their materials to bring you the best quality instrument they can.

Features We Love:
All Solid Wood Construction
All Larrivee guitars are made with the finest all-solid tonewoods, hand selected by Larrivee's team from sources all round the world. This model features the classic pairing of a solid Sitka Spruce top with Solid Mahogany back and sides, giving you a resonant guitar with plenty of powerful low-end, well defined mids and sparkling highs that ensure every note rings clear.

Dreadnought Body Shape
The large profile, square shouldered Dreadnought body style is a classic, that's built for big bottom, big volume and big projection. This makes it fantastic for accompaniment and unplugged ensemble playing like bluegrass bands.

Larrivee Craftwork

  • Hi, I'm very interested in your Larrivee. Do you have a photo of the bridge assembly, showing how much saddle is protruding through the bridge, and the string break angle over the bridge? As I'm sure you know, if the saddle is too low, the tone & volume of the sound is adversely effected, and there is no way to adjust the action without a neck reset. I would have no problem driving to Liverpool to collect the guitar in person.

    Kind regards
