I got this recently, but despite it being brilliant, I've realised I'm not a compressor person.

So here it is for sale in all its custom graphic glory. Completely unique and built to John's usual impeccable standard.

I paid £70 for it and it's completely mint. I'll take £60 posted for a quick sale.

COMP SOLD

  • G'damn. I would've gladly had that off you if it wasn't for the stupid positioning of the power socket. Arse.

Yeah, it just wouldn't fit with my layout. I have a similar problem with my AMT C2, but it's at least at the top of the pedal on that side.

Everyone wants it somewhere different. If I catered for everyone it'd have three PSU sockets, 4 I/O sockets and the PCB wouldn't fit inside the box ;) FWIW, I put it there because it provides maximum space for whatever circuit is going in the box, and as I build the vast majority of pedals for me, it's where I personally prefer it. Nothing to say it couldn't be elsewhere on a new build. Indeed, here it is on a Kingslayer in the top.

Hehe...yeah, I know what you mean. For the record, anything which doesn't fit properly on my board generally gets called "stupid" ;)

    Customers, eh?

Due to rearrangement of pedal board, and moving away from modulation, I'm now also selling this absolutely gorgeous chorus. Based on the CE-2, but with the benefit of true bypass and an added charge pump.

Of the two .. I prefer the artwork on the inside of the Chorus - that is incredible soldering work - my Pork Barrel attempt looks nothing like that... just wow.

M at the risk of becoming your best customer I'm very interested in the Korset Compressor. Can you hold until Sunday night when I'm back from holiday? Cheers C.
