'A stunning modern day Custom Shop interpretation of the traditional D-21 with hand-selected woods, weighed to achieve the lightest weight possible. This is a pretty special guitar, as it uses some really unique wood combinations that you don't see every day. The CS21-11 is a Custom Shop interpretation of the traditional D-21. Each piece of wood was hand-selected and weighed to achieve the lightest weight possible. Only the lightest 10% of material weighed was considered. The guitar weighs about 12 oz. less than a standard Martin guitar. The CS21-11 features Adirondack top and braces, and Madagascar rosewood back and sides connected to a Cedar neck with Madagascar fingerboard complete the package. Hide glue and T-Bar trussrod are the Custom Shop's nod to the pre-war greats of Martin's past. Inspired by the Martin D-21 from the 50's and 60's, the new Martin CS-21-11 is a "lightweight beauty with heavyweight tone."'
