    1. Click / Tap the "New Discussion" button.
    2. A new window appears.
    3. Click or tap the drop-down arrow for the field entitled "Category".
    4. (note that this will automatically populate with the topic area you were in when you clicked the "New Discussion" button).
    5. A pop-up or pop-down list will appear.
    6. Look for the "Classifieds" header and then click the most appropriate sub-topic depending on what you wish to advertise.
    7. Type in a suitable "Discussion Title", prefixing it with a "FS" (for sale), "FT" (for trade), "WTB" (want to buy).

Screenshot below.  If it isn't working as shown, or some variant for mobile devices, then post a follow-on message here quoting  the user name digitalscream immediately preceded by an @ and it will alert him.

Because we are more of a dangerous cult than a guitar selling site you don’t automatically get access to post to classifieds, you have to request it from one of the mods.  If you pm digitalscream as mentioned above you can request.

    I can’t promise there isn’t a brutal initiation ceremony: )

@jw_H-535 We have a rule about not deleting Classified content.

We provide a free advertising platform. In return we ask that users provide good quality adverts, and don’t delete content. It’s the content which ensures that theFretBoard is highly rated in google searches, which helps potential buyers find your ad, and also brings new people to the forum. For that to work you have to put a full description and pictures in your thread. Again, our members hesitate over anything which has minimal description, and high value items without pictures. Members refer to previous sales when buying and selling. Many view our asking prices as more reliable than those on ebay and Reverb. Previous sales threads also provide an indication of a seller’s honesty and reliability. Deleting content suggests, rightly or wrongly, that there maybe something to hide.

In April 2018 you deleted content. It is possible that your Classified access was removed because you didn’t respond to our messages about that incident.

    Your access is now restored.
