I've been watching Cheers a lot over the past year. A fabulous sitcom with a great cast. Shelly Long was superb in her role, and I couldn't imagine anyone coming in to replace her, but Kirsty did just that and was just as memorable. She was fantastic and won an Emmy and a Golden Globe in the series.

It is surprising how old the cast are now - Ted Danson is 74, Shelley Long 73, Rhea Perlman 74, George Wendt 74, John Ratzenberger 75. Kelsey Grammer is the spring chicken at 67.

RIP Kirsty.

As a child, Look Who’s Talking 1 & 2 were two of my favourite films and had me crying with laughter. RIP Kirstie, you brought much “cheer”.
