Noizemaker Guitars - anyone heard of them?

Just stumbled across this shop and builder of relic style guitars while trawling aimlessly through Reverb (as you do!).

The shop specialises in MiJ Fenders and the like (not unlike GAS Station, but a little more sensibly priced!), and the custom builds seem to have been a more recent branching out. The bodies seem to be mostly from @GoldenEraGuitars from what I can tell, with necks from the likes of Allparts/Warmoth etc, Monty's pickups and then various bits of quite high end hardware (Callaghan, Mastery, Kluson). Not sure if they're linked in some way with Golden Era or whether they just happened to buy a bunch of bodies from him as they are quality items.

They're not especially cheap, but they look the bees knees. Wondered if anyone had heard of them?

I’ve also been following them with interest for a while. Their own builds do look cool but I’m put off by the lack of info about the provenance of the builds and at around ~£2k there’s nothing to convince me that I wouldn’t just be buying an overpriced parts caster from a brand with no reputation with presumably awful re-sale value!

  • In terms of 'provenance' of the builds they all seem to be made with Golden Era guitars bodies and Monty's pick-ups, so I'd wondered whether it was some kind of collaborative venture.

The spec and everything seems decent, but you're right in that you'd likely have to take a hefty whack on the resale price if you didn't get on with it.
