Local collection in Newcastle (possibly can arrange an in-person meet further via rail). Otherwise happy to sort out a price for insured shipping

Delta Wood Body Tri-cone De-luxe (Withdrawn)

A truly stunning tri-cone that is a hesitant list, but just isn't getting enough use with what I'm playing to warrant keeping. This specific guitar was featured in Guitarist Magazine. I've heard it side-to-side with a National Tricone and it sounds just as good as an M1, with similar fit and finish, at a fraction of the cost. Crafted in the UK by John Anderson. I chatted with him over the phone when buying the guitar last year and he is a great guy

Some specs:
  • Laminated mahogany body
  • 3 piece mahogany neck
  • Schaller machine head tuners
  • Bone nut (46.5mm)
  • Pearloid Slotted Headstock
  • Ebony fingerboard
  • Diamond shaped pearloid fret markets
  • Iveroid binding
  • Aluminum Tri-bridge
  • 3x6" cones

Michael Messer Fiddle Edge (£1675) *SOLD*

Ordered directly from Michael last year, one of the first to be sent out with a low serial number (M019. 220 guitar run). While all of Michael's guitars are great, this one is truly stunning (plus he is a great guy). A near exact replica of the original 30s Dobro guitars, handbuilt in the same way they were back then. The Fiddle Edge has only been used at home and really is brand new. Professionally setup by Dave King. One of the few in the UK at the moment due to logistical delays, I believe.

Full information about the Fiddle Edge here: https://michaelmesser.co.uk/michael-messer-fiddle-edge

Specs:
  • Nickel plated brass bodyrolled edges
  • Offset spider, spun aluminium cone
  • Boxwood saddle
  • 13¾ fret neck join
  • Arched back
  • One-piece mahogany neck
  • Bound Blackwood Tek® fretboard, abalone dot markers
  • Three on a strip tuners

Sorry for the delay getting back, just took the measurements now! Nut width is 44mm and string spacing at the saddle (measured from low E to high E) is 53mm

Thank you, that would be too narrow for me. It looks like a lovely guitar.

No worries! IMO it is a very comfy neck that feels pretty wide to my large-ish hands/fingers (Michael mentioned the fretboard radius being pretty flat as well), but know that comfort point is different for everyone

Awesome! Best of luck with your sale and get in touch when you can :)

Have been tempted to withdraw this every time I pick the guitar up, but I could really use the funds--the craftsmanship that went into designing/hand building these as accurate to the originals as possible is incredible

Delta Tricone withdrawn (too good to give up!). Despite a fair bit of interest for a niche guitar, the Polak is still available
