Sold1993 Guild JF55-NT. price drop £1250

Spent a few years out of it’s case knocking around the office, so various marks as shown in photo’s and video.

My mate bought it new in ’93 when he was touring America, then I had it off him some years later. So I’m the second owner, and probably owned it for about twenty odd years.

He had a saddle pick up fitted which I removed and fitted a standard bone saddle. I spent a fair time to get the action where I wanted it and now plays lovely. I still have the original saddle, plus the pick up saddle, plus the jack is still present as the strap button. I just cut the wiring internally.

A quality guitar with what I would describe as a warm sound. My playing clearly does it no justice.

These seem to go for quite a lot of money, and as I’m short of cash right now(hence the sale of my Blackface super reverb) and rarely play acoustic, I’m probably better off selling this and buying a cheaper one to free up some cash.

So happy to consider a cheaper acoustic as a px.

It comes with the original booklet(not filled in) and original case, which has taken a beating, but still fully functional, the latches are also a bit rusty.

I’m seeing these currently advertised in Europe and the US for up to £3,500(But probably better condition than mine). Cheapest I could find was £1600, but that was for a different model.
