G4 Guitar Experience - Frampton, Lukather, Satriani, Morse, Gales....
After waiting 4 years due to COVID etc., I finally managed to get to a G4 event in the US last week in Las Vegas.
To say it was amazing would be an understatement; musicians there included Peter Frampton, Joe Satriani, Andy James, Kenny Aranoff, Bryan Beller, Cory Wong, Jordan Rudess, Phil X, Rae Thistlethwaite, Steve Lukather, Steve Morse, Mateus Asato, Nili Brosh, Ned Evett, Jason Shadrick, John 5, Alex Skolnik, Doug Doppler and Eric Gales.
I spent a lot of the time jamming with Phil X and chatting to him (in fact, we're still chatting over Instagram) which was awesome as he's a big idol of mine. Also chatted a lot with Eric Gales (holy hell that guy can play) and he wanted me to play his guitar - no pressure!
Steve Lukather's Q&A was a highlight as well - the guy is hilarious.
Here's a few pics and vids from the jams; I can't put up other pics or vids due to permissions unfortunately. And yes, I videoed an easy song for the jam as I was bloody nervous!
