Asked ChatGPT to write me some chords

This was a bit boring so I asked it to spice it up

Slightly alarmed that it resolved the chromatic section to Bb but here we are

Only slightly more effort than ripping off a real song!

There are a few things wrong with the analysis but it is mostly right and most importantly it is very convincing in the way it is written

I think AI will perhaps make experts in their fields more important since there will be mountains of generative crap to proof read and fact check

It's works ok for pop music and I've already "borrowed" it, and written a song! I changed the key though

Yeah it's a bit ho hum but it's all in the arrangement I guess. I think it would be a useful tool to bounce ideas off if you're stuck with something specific

I got it to write some doom metal lyrics and they were somewhat convincing

I swapped around some of the sections and made a few edits, but the underlying chord foundation is quite good. I also changed it to Bb minor which sounds better than Am.

Asked it some questions about guitar wiring and it knew the answers. Honestly it's sick. Will be amazing when it replaces classic search engines and current gen voice assistants

I’ve been meaning to mess with this kinda thing.

Now AI has me trying to figure out how Bb is part of the A major scale.

    Still, fun to try.

It's really fun to play with. Of it is mostly providing highly generic responses at least initially..

It gets more interesting when you challenge it to be creative.... just try it. If nothing else it's stimulating.

There's a giant law firm that has just launched  a version of it to help lawyers answer legal questions. The lawyers check and correct the answers. I suppose  the lawyers realise that they are teaching it to replace them eventually for most of the standard questions they have to deal with.

What will mankind do when it's most prised asset, intelligence, is no longer sufficient. I guess we will all have to learn manual skills like cutting hair, fixing pipes and doing dexterous things that robotics can't quite handle.
