Linux users: iLok Cloud works!!!!

Just a quick PSA - I've just managed to get iLok Cloud working on Linux, using WINE 7.0.

You'll need to use winetricks to install msxml3, gdiplus, d3dx9, d3dx10 and d3dx11.

The trick is that you need a very specific version of the iLok License Manager (5.6.1):

It'll probably chuck an error at the end of the process (something like "pnputil.exe failed blah blah 9009"), but it does complete the installation. You can then run it and safely log in to iLok Cloud. From there...everything works as you'd expect (although it looks bloody dated).

After that, you can install any iLok plugins you like, including the insanely good ADA MP-1 plugin (which is the whole reason for me going down this rabbit hole in the first place).

You're welcome.

Well done indeed! I had trouble installing the same plugin on macOS thanks to that iLok thing.

Thanks for this -  led me to buying the rather excellent ADA plugin!
