Hydrasynth Explorer - mini keys ok?

Hi folks

i am looking to add another synth to my small studio.

Have been looking at the Hydrasynth explorer but not sure whether i will get on ok with the mini keys.   I do have a large Alesis keyboard controller , but that wont exploit the ploy aftertouch on the Explorer.

Anyone have one and care to comment ?

cheers

Bit of a late reply, but I've got one and like the keys on it. It is what it is having small keys and the poly aftertouch, so you can reach longer stretches, but you won't be playing any major piano recitals on it. I'm fine with the feel of the keys for a synth though

The keybeds are meant to be good on hydrasynths.

Thanks both.  Still trying to decide between a hydra and the Korg Modwave.

Yes - been looking at demos of the minifreak too.

Looks really good but i want as much modulation matrix options as possible so i am leaning towards the modwave ATM.  When i manage to sell on a couple of guitars I have in the classifieds  I hope to buy the full suze Hydrasynth too.
