ooooooo the Akai is tempting.... I'm tired, so sorry if this is a silly question, but what do you mean by non OG disk?

it means that the disk works but is a copy of one, so doesnt have the akai sticker on it. basically with a working one you can then make as many backup copies as you want within the unit itself. So this is one of those ones and you can then clone as many as you want just using the sampler.
