I thought I'd do a quick cover with it for a bit of fun




I'm going to swap the pickup for an Aguilar AG4P-60. The stock pickup is very modern. Lots of bass, loads of treble and not enough mids. It's more like a lower powered Seymour Quarter Pounder than a traditional P pickup.

It's great if you want that sort of sound, but I don't.

It sounds pretty good in the vid but that's got quite a bit of EQ on it to boost the mids and cut the highs and lows and I know the Aguilar does that automatically. It's a proper old sounding pickup.
