Martin DX1 FS

Recently acquired this in a trade, I expected it to be rubbish to be honest being so cheap for a big name brand but it sounds really nice, significantly better since I put polyweb elixirs on.  Has a couple of nicks but great acoustic for the house.

Its a 2008 US made DX1, solid top (apparently spruce although fairly dark) and their HPL back and sides and multi layer wood neck.  There are a few marks and a dink on the neck but not anywhere your hand will touch while playing, as shown,

At one point had electrics but they pickup has been removed, there is a jack with a wire taped up inside should you wish to install a pickup again at some point.

Nobody likes name droppers but I got this in a trade with a guitarist who was at one time in T Rex and played Woodstock so I've obviously charged more (not really)

These are great guitars.  My first nice guitar was a Martin X series, played no different than any other Martin and made me feel/sound better than I really was for years as a beginner and intermediate player.
