I bought this new and direct from Twisted Electrons. It’s less than a week old but I’m not sure it’s for me. I certainly don’t want the hassle of returning it to Europe. 

It’s wild and a bit unwieldy for me to appreciate at this time, it sounds amazing when you dig in. The presets are ridiculously crap. 

Anyway, I’ll give it another go tonight to make up my mind, but wanted to get a potential sale going.

Don't do it! I have the MkI, and after initially almost returning mine, it is one of my favourites over many other much more expensive synths. The useful parameter ranges of the sliders are very narrow (the full range of sounds isn't found in the full range of the sliders, but mostly within small regions of them), but once you tune into its behaviour, there is pure gold in there. Recent firmware upgrades have improved its abilities and behaviour significantly as well.
Yeah, the presets are rubbish.

It’s interesting because I’m a big Detroit Techno fan from way back, and FM synthesis has always featured heavily in those tracks, but I just didn’t know how to handle FM and craft those sounds. I’m glad I’ve persisted.
