Very happy bunny!

Had a wee trip to Exeter yesterday to hand over my Collings i35 and popped into Project Music primarily to look at larger bodied guitars and ended up with this Atkin L 36 12 fret beauty

Super light, responsive with huge bass!

it got narrowed down to three Atkin small bodied

the 47. Which was excellent if anyone is looking for one. I would defo recommend that one

The 36 14 fret.  Again fantastic sounding guitar

and the winner 

Sorely tempted to grab the L47 as well

I do like project music and in exciting news from October they will be carrying Gibson and Martin acoustics

I'm currently coveting a black-topped 43. It'd need to be a custom build but my god it'd be nice!

Thanks Jon.   Tbh I didn’t expect it to be so good. Loved all the small bodied Atkins I tried. Not that keen on his larger bodied ones but I am spoilt a bit currently in that department

I'm still really enjoying it...for now. I never thought I'd  be a dread owner but it's worth it for that sound. It's an exceptional guitar so no regrets at all with the trade.
I'm certainly in no rush to move it on at least not until that little maple MS-00 finally turns up.
