FS; 1975 George Love Classical, a masterpiece of English guitar making!

Reluctant sale of my amazing George Love Classical guitar, made in 1975. I bought it from the original owner, who supplied photos from the actual build, which was almost a half century ago! George was a highly respected maker back in the day, with a few magazine articles, etc. and was also a top woodworker. The craftsmanship is as good as it gets, see the photos, and the woods are very high quality; flamed maple back and sides, spruce top, mahogany neck with scarf joint at head, ebony board, etc. Scale length is 26" and nut width 2 1/4" approx. Action is typical for a classical guitar, medium to slightly high on the bass side. You have to work at guitars like this, but what a sound! TBH it's worth buying just to look at, but it is also a really high end classical for a good player. The tone is full, and really balanced with full basses and a nice maple zing on the trebles when pushed. It comes in the original case.
Check out the heart carved at the top of the fancy headstock, and the lovely signed label. The hand made rosette is a nice touch with butterflies! There are a few slight wear marks in the lacquer on the top, no other damage and no repairs, no work needed. Please look at the pics and ask any questions. I simple have too many nylon strung guitars for an average player and I will be listing more as it goes along.
