    Theyve just brought out a SM7dB (with integral preamp) - so there might be a few SM7Bs being sold off soon.

    Yes, it is basically an SM7B with a built in Cloudlifter style preamp for about £60 less than buying an SM7B and a Cloudlifter.

    It makes sense that they had to do it at some stage but anyone with an SM7B probably has a Cloudlifter and they are so useful that I am not sure many will sell the SM7B to get the dB.

    OP in your situation buying new then I'd get the dB, subject to the reviews coming in positively.
    Or a used SM7B and Cloudlifter or Fethead.
