Iceman gas

I really fancy an Ibanez iceman but fear the only one easily available is the Paul Stanley signature model which has some hardware on it I don’t like plus I hate Kiss! I was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere that does a kit? I know Warmoth offer an iceman body but struggling otherwise. In an ideal world I’d like something like the IC-50 with six in a line headstock but they are a bit out of reach for me, I'm not scared to build from a kit if I have to… thanks!

My biggest guitar regret is selling my original PS10. I bloody LOVED that guitar but I needed the money.

Only options I can think of is to wait and see if something pops up on eBay or reverb. But if you don’t want to wait, then Warmoth would be the best bet unless you want to spend a lot and have something made for you by a reputable luthier

I was a big fan at the time and would have bought this were it not for the Floyd.

I feel you. I’ve had iceman G.A.S. for years, and I’m no KISS fan so the PS10 was out. There’s a few places on eBay who will build you a body, but they are all US based. That being said it’s still overpriced, even for a vintage IC200.

Thing is…. love Kiss or not the PS10 was a cracking good guitar, and the PS10LTD from 1996 was awesome

As a huge Celtic Frost fan I'd kill for an IC400; there was one on Reveb recently but the price was silly. To me the 3-in-a-row knobs never look right on an Iceman, it has to be the 4 for the whole thing to balance correctly IMHO.

I like 3 in a row knobs for the 6 in line headstock or 4 knobs for the 3 a side headstock. I’ve never actually played one, I did own a Paul Gilbert Fireman model for a while though, the red 3 single coil version… neck was too fat for me.

I want this guitar quite badly, I just think it’s too much money, I reckon you could get the Giger for less.

Yeah, there's a Giger one on Ebay atm for just over a grand; that IC50's way overpriced.

That’s strikingly similar to the recent Ibanez custom shop one-off. A beauty!

I've got one of these. Have changed the pick ups to Dirty Fingers in the bridge/SD in the neck.The neck is kinda chunky, but in a really pleasing way for my small hands. It would benefit from a fret dress, but life and obligations never let that happen.

Apologies for the thread resurrection but I’ve just picked up a PS60 in the silver sparkle and it’s shockingly good for the price I paid (£200!). 

I’m no Kiss fan but this is a great looking and sounding guitar. 

 Originally picked it up in the shop on a whim to see if I played nice with my goofy shoulder then realised I didn’t want to put it back.
