Riff of the Month (RotM) #82 Challenge

This is the 82nd Riff of the Month (RotM) Challenge.

The challenge is now open, and remains open for submissions until midnight on 24th December 2023.

All you have to do is ...

Write a riff. It could be anything from a single RAW guitar track to a full mix of instruments or a Bass guitar riff. However, the focus must be on the riff. Most entries will probably be guitar based riffs, but they don't have to be.

Aim to keep it to a maximum of 50 seconds. This is about riffs, not songs.

Include your forum name in the email.

Voting will start soon after the submission deadline, with each voter selecting their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice.

First choice gets 5 points - Second choice gets 3 points - Third choice gets 1 point. The order and scores of the top three entries will be announced soon after the voting ends. 

No prizes. It's just for fun.

In theory, entry closes at midnight tomorrow (23rd Sept).

But, I might have to carry it over for another month, if there isn't another entry. Is that OK with you @flying_pie?

You can extract a riff section from an existing song you have, if that makes things easier.

Absolutely no worries there. Better to wait for enough entries as far as I'm concerned

Two tracks of Les Paul, one via Nobels ODR-1, one via RAT, both into Valvepower 18w, then Ox box.

Tanglewood Warrior III bass through Ashdown Perfect 10 mini stack.

The guitars were done quite quickly, but I took quite a while on bass, I took some inspiration from comments in How does a Guitarist play Bass? and really aimed to lock the bass in with the drums.
