Re-amping with Fuzz

Can you re-amp into a Fuzz Pedal?
As we all know Fuzz face style pedals like to see the pickup directly. To my ears at least they sound crap with a buffer in front. I've yet to hear a plugin that comes any where close.
So if I want to re-amp (audio interface out -->Re-amp box -->Fuzz-->Marshall>SM57> interface) will it sound any good?
