Avid S6 build.

Some people derisively refer to control surfaces as 'just a big mouse'.
I bought *quite a nice one* recently, a Avid S6.

These are modular so it arrived in a number of boxes.



Two car loads to be precise.
Building the console up took quite a bit of time.

First you get a chassis:



and bolt it to the other chassis and bolt the front buffer on:



Then add in the power supplies, network switch and all the cabling:



Then you can add the modules, side panels and rear plastic parts.



I still have a process and knob module to add in, but they should arrive soon.
It is really nice to use.
I am still getting to grips with it, will take a while.
