Looking at this amp myself. I don’t know that the Andertons home brand comments seem fair, it does seem like a quality UK made and designed. Lambchopper over on YouTube does pretty great demos and has a few uploads on the Kraken mk2. Like this one where he goes for a Megadeth tone:

Yes, I expect it’s well made, just like all Victory products and I think it’s particularly well conceived. I just think the pricing is ambitious, to say the least.

£1400 is a lot.

UK pricing on amps seems crazy. It used to be the same number as the $ price with £ stuck in front of it, now I'm seeing the £ price 20% higher than the $ price on a lot of amps.

I expect the Mesa pricing will be eye watering.

I’ve had a few.
i just don’t rate them. They always sound good in the shop, admittedly. Martin Kidd seems like a good guy and a very good player. Perhaps all very much built to a price for the andertons empire. Uninspiring.
