Horse with no name..acoustic..electric

What's Hot
Just a question regarding the title..

Why does playing horse with no name sound right on acoustic but just odd on my electric?

2 chords but it sounds completely wrong on electric clean..

I've only been trying to play for 40 years so be gentle

  • I suppose an acoustic is quite large and full sounding  which suits the song.
I thought it was an acoustic song anyway . You could try adding a bit of chorus to the electric to give a faint 12 string sound  probably a bit of reverb to make it sound more airy like you’re in a big room/hall etc . But I think it sounds best on acoustic .

    Classic song
