I've found that hosting my stuff on Soundcloud is ok but it tends to only be other musicians on there or bots spamming me. I don't really get any listens. The sound quality seems better on there so that's nice, but thought putting my stuff on youtube might be a good idea to see if anybody else might get to hear it. So far that's not going very well but there we go
Linking to my channel page doesn't seem to work, so here's one song, if you don't die of indifference on this one you can click through to others via the channel:
I know the videos are rubbish, ie I just went into Clipchamp and looped stock video with some text on the front

and the sound quality isn't as good as the original files, but hopefully it might get a few views at some point and see if anybody else likes my miserable grooveless reverb soaked dirges

EDIT: Removed as it wasn't really working for me so just usual vanity posting
I'm scared and I'm waiting for life

I'll pick a song to link to in the first post then if that one isn't enough for you to die of boredom then you can click through to the "channel" from there
I hope I don't ruin your evening
I was thinking hints of Leonard Cohen on the original track posted above (although probably need to smoke 20 fags a day for 10 years to sound more like him) and then there's a Cohen cover on your channel. Although I'm guessing yours is more based on the Buckley version. But I don't think that's terrible company.
Now the link is working hopefully a few more people will have a listen.
I think I'm overly aware of my very limited palette of styles due to my limitations of my voice and not being suitable for faster music. Also my very limited production skills, think of them as over thought demos I guess
Also that I'm quite a miserable person generally so that's why my music reflects that, I don't like happy music very much and wouldn't have a clue how to even start writing something happy or fast.
Thank you for listening!
