Mesa Boogie Trem-o-verb Dual Rectifier head for sale from the 1990's.

Including original Rectifier Foot switch

Rare and unique custom tan leather finish.

Original Export model /230 Volts (so hard to find these ones - Most are US models).

Early version with the desirable attached power cable.

There were very few amps made in this smooth blonde tan leather finish.

This one was from the Custom Design Gallery / special order in the '90s

This particular one was originally used as a demonstration model at Musikmesse back in the 90's.

A highly collectable piece of Mesa history

Condition is good considering the age of this beautiful amplifier.

Has some road wear in some places on the soft leather finish of course.
I believe it's a circa 1996 amplifier.
I think the road worn vibe looks phenomenal on this finish....like an old pair of cowboy boots...if that's your sort of thing

From the original and most desirable 2 channel Dual Rectifier series in the 90's.

Incredible sounding and extremely versatile high gain amplifier.
It sounds phenomenal through every speaker cab I've played it through.
Pictured is my old '77 Marshall 4x12 with a quad of original G12M25 Blackbacks ( not for sale I'm afraid).

Anywhere from Fender style sparkling cleans, to on the edge of bluesy breakup right through to that unmistakable and now iconic high gain rectifier tone.
Handcrafted in Petaluma, California

100 Watts, Class A/B Power / 4x6L6, 6x12AX7, 2x5U4

Bias Select Switch (6L6/EL-34)

2 Channels, 4 Modes (Clean, Vintage High Gain, Blues & Modern High Gain)

    Best amp ever made.

Sadly I can’t justify even the head version now… I did have two of the combos at one point, but had to sell them when the danger of gravitational collapse became too great. I still miss the sound though.

    Thanks,  @ICBM .
    Yes, it's a phenomenal amp.
    It can do anything.
Most folks don't realise that the Trem-o-verbs are also delicious too when set up for classic lower gain stuff.
I must admit, I know I will most probably regret selling this one....but I need the dosh.

  • Actually, I really like those boots. Is matching amp and boots a thing? I may need to have a word with my dresser.  :)

    You know what, @Dr_Necessiter ......
Whenever I wear my boots, I have to take my matching amp.... that's why I had to decide to part with the amp....it's gotten ridiculous!
Once I sell the amp, I will be free to go out for the day/ or evening for that matter, without having to carry the darn thing around with me! :)

    Will consider trades such as:
    1) Rick Beato Gibson Special double cut
    2) A decent Les Paul with a 60's style neck ( not too chunky)
    3) Matchless amp
    4) Vintage Marshall JMP50 (small box/ pre '72)
    5) Fender Custom Shop Strat

Like ICBM, I’m a big fan of the Trem-O-Verb. I had the combo version for a short while back in the day. A fabulous amp and the best clean sound ever. Unfortunately it weighed about the same as a Range Rover so quite a challenge lifting it from the boot of my car. It had to go. A separate head and cab would have been perfect but were almost impossible to find in the U.K. at that time.

A few heads have turned up in the years since, including @Harmonics72’s very nice example, but always when I am already sorted for the amps I need. Oh well…..
