UA Luna - free on Macs

Looks like Luna is now free for Mac users. Anyone here use it? I had a former student who did his masters project based around using it and he reckons it's amazing, mainly the emulations etc in the Pro version. What's anyone reckon? I'm currently using Reaper and am definitely held back more by my abilities than any issues with the DAW so I'm tempted to stick where I am.

I use and really love Mixbus, Luna has peaked my interest as it kinda follows the same ethos. I tempted to give it a try on the trial. I agree the old saying the best DAW to use is the one you know the best keeps telling me to leave it.

I went to try it yesterday. For the life of me, I couldn’t get Luna to recognise any of my ADAT connections on my RME interface. So it was pretty short lived! 

You can try a lot of the emulation vsts via UAD Spark in your own DAW. A lot of great sound stuff, but yet another subscription.
